It is a typical message of Shredder GUI, when a combined UCI/WB-engine initializes TBs, before it is ready to answer the uci command of the GUI. Often WB-engines have a command to setup TBs in the configuration file. Deleting this might help. Sometimes it helps to try a few times in a row, too. The second time, the engines initializes TBs is normally much faster than the first time, and the GUI won't timeout again. Regards, Dieter
