Up until now SCID has served it's purpose very well.

Looking into ChessBase 9 and Chess Assistant 8 the prices are relatively close,
but from looking at the information there is not much that they do that SCID
can't.

Maybe it is just me but I can't justify the money for the little extra that they
_might_ be able to provide.

I might download a light version and try it out to see what is what..
