I did order the ChessBase 9 Starter package about 20 minutes ago. I couldn't justify spending close to $500 CDN on a database program, so the mega pack was out of the question. The starter package after conversion fees will cost me about $230 CDN... I checked into the light version, and you are correct. It is an older version, and I don't think it would have given me the right impression regarding the value of the software. Peter
