Hello Everyone ! I Have The Programs Hiarcs 9, Deep Fritz 7&8, Junior 8 & 9, Shredder 7-9 ! I run my programs at that famous and best place tot est engines at playchess.com in engine room ! I have come to the conclusion that a program plays its best after the first 3 days it has been installed no matter what the setings are ! Say you just joined at playchess.com in engine room play ! You start off with an elo of 2400. For the first three days of playing in engine room you will reach 2550+ easy ! After you have been playing in engine room after three days your program will drop from 2550+ elo rating down to atleast below 2420 Elo rating and will never regain these points. It will always hover around 2420-2470. Does anyone know why this is ? And does anyone know how to improve your opening book so you can atleast break 2600 on playchess.com ? Also does anyone know any new settings i can try for the programs i listed up above ? Thanks for your responses This is a replay i have a dual xeon 2.8 ghz 2 gb ram ! Any suggestions !
