hi blood, i think your expecting to much after only a few days. at first you'll get checked out, after the compotition access's your strength you'll notice some accounts wont play you, the ones that can beat you will.stronger machines will allways look for weaker machines. you'll notice the highest rated machines will hardly ever play you. they also have undeciferable formula's. if they do play you its on there own terms, usually very fast blitz. also note that the top programs are more of a result of user knowledge of his machine and operating system. there machines are tuned just like there programs are for maximum performance. also the top machines have been on for a long time. it takes a while to get your rating up high. my advice to you. 1.experiment with settings, book, and time controls to find what works best with your machine. 2. come up with an undecipherable formula to keep people from challenging you. 3.pick off higher rated opponents when you can.allways try to play lower rated opponents, but not to low as not to get points. 4. be patient,it will take a long time to get a high rating, and note a lot of the highest rated computer accounts there are in collusion and are very protective of there status. 5. work on fine tuning your machine.(tweaking) there are a lot of utilities to do this.i dont recomend overclocking though. 6.spend about $5000.00 for a monster box.this in itself will give you an atvantage. other than that you have to do the work, every machines different. you have to put the time and effort into finding out what works best on your machine. regards mike
