Hi Nolan, ChestUCI is no ´normal´ chess engine, it IS actually a mate solver! So it makes no sense to speak of ´finding the best move´, it will only find a mate (if it exists). But for the above position a ´brute force´ search would take a rather long time (at least on my slow notebook), and so I switched to ChestUCI´s special mode. Regards, Franz.
