Dann, you can find quite a few alternative solutions in WAC with yace. At the yace command prompt, type st 100 cook wacnew.epd (assuming, you have logging already enabled, set up hash, etc.) This will start a search of each position. Each search will have the bm(s) excluded. When you look over the log after the test run, you will easily identify the positions with high score. However, for practical purposes, it will be unlikely, that an engine chooses such an alternative. Of course, you can choose the search time according to your preference and patience, and do not need to use the "st 100" above. Regards, Dieter
