There's one born every minute. >Boy, are you included! > > The facts - Kasparov lost a 6 game match to Deep Blue. It doesn't mean Deep Blue was better than Kasparov. Deep Blue was better than Kasparov for that 6 game match...period. It was a significant event because it was the first the human world chess champion lost to a man made machine in a tournament time control match ...period. To say that IBM of the IBM team cheated is total BS...period. Kasparov played as if he never played in pressure packed chess match before. Kasparov blew it. In Game 6 he played h6?? What the hell was he thinking? To accuse DB of cheating when he played far below his abilities is asinine. He lost because he got out played... period. He played so poorly, that if this was a boxing match, the fans would have screamed "fixed". His coup de grace was that Kasparov screamed "cheating" - forver painting himself as a poor loser (Which he is anyway - we all know that. Many World Champions are poor losers ) and permanently killing any prospect of any future matches between himself and the IBM Deep Blue. He has nobody but himself to blame for losing the match and for ending the match series...period. He really should move on, because every time he talks about this match, he looks like a horse's ass. ...in math, when one mulitpliles zero by anything - what is the answer? Still Zero? The same can be said about your posts -- it doesn't matter how may times you post -- I still see the same level of comprehension, understanding and intellectual thought processes. Zero...think about it before you make you next post. (we know that won't happen)
