I bought Shredder 9.02 yesterday, and I see it has self play, EPD analysis and other wonderful goodies. It also shocks me how fast it can search deeply. When I was reading the PDF manual, it struck me that it does some of the nice things like Yace does and I really like it. I wish that Fritz, Hiarcs and Junior had some of the Shredder features, especially a UCI mode like Shredder or a Winboard mode like TheKing. Probably, I won't buy more versions of those engines unless they add some of the features I want. So, I guess I am recommending for everyone to buy Shredder 9 UCI from the Shredder site. P.S. I had a technical question and SMK followed up right away.
