When you score a program with an EPD test suite, you should not simply assume that a chosen move is wrong. I have about 1000 cases where a checkmate is found, but the key move is different than that suggested. Even if the other mate is closer, you surely cannot find that a move leading to certain checkmate is not a best move. I also have test cases where the position is proven to lose (ce score less than negative 32000) and yet there is supposed to be a best move. There are test cases where the score is larger than +10 and the supposed best move is not a mate and the suggested best move does not result in such an excellent score. In short, EPD test suites are *very* buggy. Your program might score a 75% and be 100% right!
