I have shredder 9 UCI, but I seriously don't see its analysis changing if i skip along to another move in the game and then go back to a previous move. example. Say i let shredder analyze a given position, it likes bxe4 until ply 21, then changes its mind to Qxd8, but this amount of time takes....lets say 15 minutes. If i go to a position further on the board, and let it continue analyzing, if i go back shouldn't it be at qxd8 already? not the case, it has to start again on bxe4, how can i get this 'feature' to work? and if i have to 'initialize' it, can i do this so it plays chess with this feature on...does it help it? please educate me.
