Why are the "Freebies" so clearly worse than the *Commercials"? Where are the
amateur-engines
particularly susceptible? With which positional and tactical difficulties do
amateurs
at most have to fight? Where is their largest potential for improvements?

I examined 20 of the best amateur programs, and I discovered
many *typical* errors in its play style.

In this AMATEUR BLUNDER CHECK you will find the following engines:

AnMon, Anaconda, Aristarch, Baron, Crafty, DanChess,
Frenzee, Fruit, Glaurung, Jonny, Movei, Naum, Pharaon,
ProDeo, Quark, SOS, SmarThink, Spike, Yace, Zappa.

The three most problematic categories for the "Freebies" are:
a)Kings safety  b)Endgame c)Tactical defense in difficult positions.

So, the whole stuff is particularly interesting for programmers.
