Had that situation at a point with Shredder 8 (infact several installs), but that didn't affect the play (of course I removed all but one when I saw it). Problems with the registry is a logical thought, but the odd behaviour begins at a certain point in the game... Anything that might be activated somewhere in the system after some period? In theory, naturally, this should affect other engines as well. Have you tried different timecontrols? BTW, what is the OS? Ok, still hopes the removals fixed it! Regards Henrik
