OS is Windows XP. Still didn't work after uninstalling both copies, using search
to remove any remnants, running System Mechanic processes, running AdAware,
antivirus and reinstalling. Just doing a defrag. Will try again after that, but
will really have run out of options after that. Complete mystery!
