If CMX is anything like Ruffian, it will get a mate score, lose it, get it again only to lose it again while shifting from a best response to it of Rxc7, Nf8, Qf5 and Ngf6 all the while. Ruffian had a tough time with 1.Nc7. It took 5 times longer to reach the same depth of 14 that 1.Rxe6 got and ultimately lost the mate score. >10:36 1/13 Mate11 259792029 1.Rxe6+ fxe6 2.Rd1 Ngf6 3.Rxd7+ > Nxd7 4.Qd6+ Ke8 5.Nc7+ Kd8 6.Nxe6+ > Ke8 7.Ng7+ Kd8 8.e6 Nf6 9.Bf4 Rg8 > 10.Qc7+ Ke7 11.Bd6# >15:29 1/13 Mate11 377499702 1.Nfd4 Qxe5 2.Rxd7+ Kf8 3.Nd6 Ng5 > 4.Bxg5 Ne7 5.Qf3 Qxg5+ 6.Kb1 Qd5 > 7.Qxd5 Nxd5 8.Rxf7+ Kg8 9.Ne6 Nc3+ > 10.bxc3 Rh7 11.Rf8#
