i have xp home with cd burner that came with it. it worked for about a year and i used it very little. now when i try to burn a cd with pictures it does not work. have try diff.cd and it won,t work with any of them keep gettting the message that the cd are bad. is there a way to check to see if its the cd burner software or if it is the cd-drive(d) that is bad. is there any simple cd software that can be downloaded to try and check to see if it is the software. i did download one file yesterday and it worked. but today tryed it again and it didn,t work. would apprecated any help on this. tryed msn and got the run around there. no help from them. thanks in advance. gerold.
