perhaps...

some say interest will increase if people will see the value is high for the old
computers
another theory is ,high prices will keep the younger folks from getting into the
hobby

for old foggies like you and me,price is not an issue and so we can spend until
we drop

but for the younger generation..they ask...why pay $1000 for a computer that can
be number crunched to death by a $25 PC program?

if higher prices will increase the attraction of the old computers ,well then,so
be it

if lower prices will,then i am for that as well..
the most  important issue (for me)is the increased interest
