It will also remove games with serious pgn errors. There are many other things I do to "clean" my pgn files. Like remove twins/duplicates, remove games without results, correct inconsistent results, and remove excess tags. I use pgn-extract, Scid, a private program by Andreas Stabel and a private program that I wrote. There are many pgn utilities out there and I am always looking for new ways to "clean" pgn files.
