I have e-mailed Microsoft and asked about My options. According to Thier web site a Person would have to have purchased a p/c with a licensed copy of windows xp pro(32 bit) to be able to exchange it for a windows 64 bit copy. I purchased a barebone dual Opteron and installed a licensed copy of windows xp pro Myself. Lets see what happens?>>>>Mike
