Interesting, according to the %'s the computer would only be in the IM level for the most part, although we continually see it beat humans, and not only beat them "if they make a mistake" there are times when a human has no chance to win and only draw, and during the game there were no mistakes made by the human. For the last several days I have been running non stop test suites of different personalities for shredder 9, so far I have made two stronger personalities than shredder 9 default, scoring better in both the test suites and in matches over 50 games a piece. So the question is, can a test suite REALLY tell you the strength of a program? the program might be able to select the best move in that particular position but could never come up with the moves to get to that or any particular position.
