Repeated whispers (literally!) of conspiracy, but when the filmmaker gets members of the Deep Blue team before the camera he refuses to ask the simple questions that might clear everything up. Or maybe he asks the questions but using the answers would have demolished his preconceived viewpoint -- so all that stuff ends up on the proverbial cutting-room floor. I have read statements to the effect that Kasparov essentially had editorial control of this film. (He did have to be extensively interviewed for it.) Does anyone have solid information on this point? -- Walter
