Actually Steve I do understand your point of view.
Yes it is nice to have these high end units.
But as to software I only have two.Fritz 00.23
purely for game analysis and ChessMaster 9K for game play.
CM9K gives me the opportunity to select an opponent
which will allow me to win from time to time.
And the CM9K quality of play at lower levels,I think
is fairely good.
But to be honest I much prefere,like you,the old dedicated
machines.Nothing like a real wooden full size board.
