Are you kidding?  They barely got 2005 scheduled with only 4 months notice.
They have no clue about 2006, much less 2008.

It's a travesty, IMHO.  Big hardware projects need much more notice than 4
months to get equipment and testing ready.  Not only do they need time for these
things, but they really need hard dates and times, preferably at least six
months in advance, for scheduling.  Computer time on big hardware is not cheap,
nor is it easy to get the hardware on the dates and times it will be needed.
Surely ICGA are aware of this.  But maybe they don't care.   You would think
they are deliberately favoring the microcomputer software vendors by making the
event with such short notice, so that it's less likely a competitive
big-hardware project will interfere with the desired marketing results.  I don't
know that this is a factor, but it looks suspicious.
