Hello everyone ! I spend my time playing at playchess.com ! I have a dual
celeron 2.8 ghz 1 gb ram ! I spent over 7,000 games playing nothing but 3+0
games (any elo engine accepted) and only reached 2600 elo ! Since then i have
switched to 10+10 min games - 60+15 min games and have broke 2675 elo with deep
fritz 8 in under 100 games ! I know when a program has more time to think it
gets the best move but the same can be said about your opponents engine as well
! So how come it plays much better and wins 51% of the time in long games
compared to only 43% at 3+0 games ??????????? i know it has nothing to do with
hash or opening book bc i left them the same with both long and short games !
Any info on this opic would be helpfull !
