I have one of those "old-fashioned" message boards, but it keeps threads
together; a new message can bring the whole thread (intact) to the top of the
board or just the new message; it displays view counts for messages etc.

It also allows users to display chess diagrams by including a FEN string in
their messages (similar to here, but without the [D]). What sets it apart from
other message boards I have seen is that all the diagrams automagically become
playable. Even if a message contains several diagrams all of them become
playable. Only legal moves are allowed. This is still in beta and some planned
functionality is missing (take back moves; update FEN string above board after
each move; promotion is not yet implemented etc.).
