Meaning in 49 moves black will force white to give up the queen for the pawn or allow the pawn to promote into a won endgame. That's my understanding of the numbers. I also should mention that in the first example after (-2)Qb8+ Fritz did not follow up properly in the next move (I tried kh7). So, I think you can not trust the whole CD ROM of Fritz 5.00 or 5.32. Sometimes it works but sometimes it does not. Chessbase was supposed to bring out a new special update this week but I have not seen it. Maybe they are still having problems. I wish they could get this program/GUI fixed so it works properly. When it works it's a very nice program. Jim Walker
