Subject: Microsoft Virtual PC platform for Computer Chess

I recently installed some software from Microsoft called "Virtual PC". It
allows you to have many virtual PCs on one host (each could have a different
operating system if you want). We use it where I work to test security patches
before deploying across the network. I mean they run just like a new PC when you
install them, you have to install operating system, network connections work the
same, separate ip address etc etc.

This software works exactly like a "separate" machine. So I am wondering if any
one here has ever used it to setup a program vs program match, since each
virtual machine is totally unique and independent of one another. It would
appear to be different than running both programs on one machine and
multitasking.

Just curious
