I have 27 engines now playing 10 games against Shredder 9. (270 games) I'm expecting to add a few more CMX settings that have been released since I started this tournament, and any other strong ones that were overlooked! After each setting has played 10 games, I'll knock out one of the CM9 settings and half of the CMX settings. I'll play 15 games more for each setting remaining (25 each all together), and knock out half of the settings. The remaining settings will each play 25 more games. After these 25 games I will have 50 total games for the best performing settings. I will use my judgement to decide whether I should knock out any more or keep going with these final settings until the best settings have 100 games each. These numbers I threw up aren't locked in stone. If a couple engines are tied in score, (some making it, and others just barely into bottom half of the knockout), I may decide to keep all the tied engines.
