Rxe7 is the correct move.

Rxe7 Qxe7 Qf3 Kg7 Nce4 +-
Rxe7 Qxe7 Qf3 Bg4 Qxf6 Qxf6 Bxf6 +-

Maybe +- is a bit too harsh in the 2nd line, but Black's position is quite bad.
