Qd7 or something else - he will lose in all cases. the reasoning in WCSAC is very often that the side under attack grabs all material, as his position is hopeless otherwise. remember that it was written in a time where there were no computers to help reinfeld! i still think it's a classic, every serious chess player should work through it. but for computers, you should use ECMGCP rather than anything else. cheers martin
