My next Beta test of Movei 309 was a 20-game G/60 match in the Chessmaster GUI against the default Chessmaster personality (but with 32MB hash), on an AMD 2500, with pondering OFF. Unfortunately, for some strange reason, in two of the games (12 and 15) The King played instantly, even though I ran the tournament undisturbed from beginning to end. So the tournament only has 18 games. I've never seen The King have this problem in the CM GUI before, so I have no idea why it happened or how I can avoid it in the future. The final result was a 13-5 victory for CM (+11 =4 -3). Movei did very well with the White pieces, getting an almost even score against The King (+3 =2 -4). However, all of the damage was done with when Movei had the Black pieces (+0 =2 -7), so this might point to some flaws in the book as Black (or just bad luck, most likely). Games will follow.... jm
