Thanks for the reply. I wouldn't be annoyed. If it is a better engine, I wouldn't ming having it, even if a Fritz 9 was soon coming out. I may just go and purchase it. Interesting note. I just downloaded the UCI engine Toga II and have it playing a 4+2 Eight game match vs Fritz 8 on a single PC with Ponder turned off. AMD Athlon XP 2600+ 1 Gig of DDR SDRAM............With both engines using the Fritz 8 Opening book. Toga II won 5.5 to 2.5. Interesting! I know it has been said to get a true evaluation.............700 games must be played..............But???? Brian
