If Yace can't solve it then I don't feel so ashamed of TRACE. Still, to reach such high search depths Yace must be doing some clever pruning. The position is difficult for engines because once the wk has set up a blockade and shuffles between g1 and f2, the bk can walk around avoiding repetitions. If Yace is searching 126 ply then it should see the 50 move draw, at least. Its amazing how such a seemingly simple position can be so hard to analyze. Cheers, Ross
