 If your initial setup leads to overspecialization the wider test will be at
best a very slow process. And the worst case the old acronym GIGO will spring to
mind.
 I would suggest your first fast run use some kind of speciation mechanism and
submit a number of good species to the latter mega run. That will widen the
genetic sampling.
