Subject: Help with ProDeo in Fritz

I feel like a semi-moron, but I just can't get Fritz [Fritz7] to be nice to me
when I am trying to setup personalities.

First, when I go to the "Engine Parameter" dialogue, it does not list the
personalities I have created, instead it lists "Rebel, Rebel, Rebel, Rebel,
Rebel." [Each on its own line, as 5 different options].

Second, I cannot seem to get it to read [or at least use] the wb2uci.eng file.
That file SHOULD tell Prodeo which personality to use [it works when I am using
Bookup], but Fritz does not seem to care about it. To test this I made bishops
worth practically nothing, but then when I evaluate standard opening positions
where bishops have the option of taking knights, it just ignores the offered
material [using prodeo in bookup gives the expected results].

Not only does Fritz not seem to read the wb2uci.eng file when I load the engien,
it does not even want to affect the personality desired even if I have doctored
the personality file before linking the engine to Fritz at all!

Note that I can get Prodeo to analyze positions, so at least something is
working, but I cannot modify the personalities.

So, any help on either how to get Fritz to see different personalities in the
parameter box or how to get it to load a personality by editing the .eng file?

Thanks in advance.
