When you have been out of chess and computer chess for more than 5 years, it gets confusing to immediately pick up the different setups. However even 5 years ago, the Fritz interface allowed many 32 bit engines. So it seems that Shredder9 does not behave the same in its own interface as it does in the Fritz interface. I assume UCI means the Universal Chess Interface. Please correct me if I am out of date. However the bugs I reported are there with the Shredder 9 embedded in the Fritz interface. The bugs with the tree are of course because of the interface and not the Shredder engine. I have found another bug. When you install a theme key within the Fritz interface, and if you click on Special Games in Themes, the Shredder9-Fritz interface crashes and you are brought back to the desktop.
