Your problems seem to occur when very large files are processed, always. Check
if your harddisk config is ok (HD cache, DMA activated). Or maybe your file
system has bad (lost) file chunks or bad clusters. Run

chkdsk.exe

from the command line, IOW in a DOS box, to check this. When this finds many
file problems, it will probably be best to uninstall / reinstall your CB
software.

Or, if anything seems to be ok with that...

Total Virtual Memory	1.47 GB
Available Virtual Memory	1.02 GB
Page File Space	1.03 GB

I'm not sure if it helps, but your page file (swap file) seems to be unusally
large. I use 256 MB fixed size (only) on a notebook with 512 MB RAM and have no
problems. I'm aware it "should" work of course when it's within windows
specifications, nevertheless I'm just saying it's the only thing which looks
unusal to me, among your configuration infos.

But HD / file system problems seem more likely to me after your problem reports.
