One of my sidelines is technical chart analysis of equity's, indexs, stocks stc.

An important botton has been reached in the US$.

What does this mean for chess computer collectors??

Chess computer collecting is dominated by Europeans, therefor for US collectors,
chess computer collectible have risen sharply in the last few years with the
decline of the dollar. But with no end of the US dollar decline until just last
week, there was not reason to stop investing in chess computer collectibles as
the value and prices just kept rising with the decline of the US dollar.

However, with the US dollar setting an important bottom last week, we will now
enter a period where US$ prices should be more favorable in the future as the
US$ increases relative to to the Euro. We are now entring a in a period where a
US purchaser should delay making Euro based purchases. This includes chess
computers, European cars, chessbase programs etc.

Please do make not any important purchasing/investing decisions based on this
opinion as this opinion comes with no expressed or implied guarantees or
warranties and your mileage may differ,

Also, this post has an admittedly weak linkage to chess computers -- replies
should retain an equally weak linkage or better to chess computers.
