the more memory, the faster the CPU, the bigger the faster the better. I would
hold off for two months or so and wait after the 29th Feb when intel will be
realeasing their new range of PIII computer products, because the price of the
400 and 450 chips will certainly fall.

I live in Australia and the standard chip being sold right now in most systems
is the 350Mhz, then there is a bigger jump to the 400 and 450 chips. Within 6
months the 450 cpu will be standard amoung most systems being sold.

We cannot even get an P233MMX chip around here anymore. The lowest being sold
anywhere is the PII chip.

2.7 years ago, I bought a top of the line P100 with a blistering 8 meg of ram, a
huge 850Mb harddrive and a powerful 1Mb video card with Win 3.11, all for $3300
(Aus) or about $5800 (US) :-(

What this has to do with your question, wel get the best you can, only to know
that within 1 year it will not be selling anymore. Obselete. Don't worry Iam
just depressed, so am only writing dribble :-)
