Hi Bob,

I guess what I was thinking is that if I have alot of similar EPD positions in a
file and I run crafty on the data set that there is a chance that some of the
positions solutions would be found more quickly if there was some cache hits
from previous positions. I may be wrong since I am not quite sure what crafty
does but I seem to remember that at times cache hits on similar positions can
sometimes help in finding a solution. Is this correct? If I am wrong then are
you saying that if I have 20 very similar positions in a file and run crafty on
them that there wont be a difference in solution time whether I run the epd
psotions one at a time (thus resetting cach automatically) vs running all 20
positions in a batch type mode?

Thanks,

Les
