The ChessBase Opening Key using ECO Classifications.

for Example:

THe MEGA DATABASE '99 CD is based on 1114444 Games

has 54277 Keys and 56004 Positions.

The Chessbase Big Database 2004 CD has 2607363 Games

with 91638 Opening Keys and 87,000 + positions.




This is why the game is played backwards; to get the deepest

Classification possible.
