Eiko Bleicher has just announced his first official release of FREEZER, a new
tool for enabling endgames (usually under constraints) to be analysed to reveal:

- missed opportunities in games,
- correct or cooked studies,
- (DTC-)optimal play in endgames with blocked or near-blocked pawns
- fortress opportunities

He's also set up a monthly competition which will I think publish some
interesting uses of the software.

I've been testing it successfully - and used it on the venerable KRP(a2)KbBP(a3)
et al.
