Toga/Fruit is as strong as many professional programs also.

If the only thing you want is the strongest program, then nobody would buy
anything except Shredder (until something knocks Shredder off the throne).

I guess that most Tiger sales are bundled (e.g. with Chess Assistant) so there
won't be much impact if Shredder is stronger or ProDeo is free.

If it is important to Christophe, he will increase the strength of Chess Tiger.

I bought Gandalf even though I have lots of other strong engines.  It is strong
enough for me and plays an intersting game of chess.

Chess engines are so cheap, it's like buying lunch anyway.  Who would pout about
$25 or so?  It's a pure impulse level thing.
