For my fellow coders, here's a non chess specific item that may be helpful. Are you still using the default font that came with your development environmont? Is your eyesight not as good as it once was? Do you at times have eye fatigue even when wearing spectacles? Have you spent hours tracking down a bug because of a typo that you should have seen, but didn't? Want free stuff? A multi platform programmer's font by the name of ProFont is available for free on the web. See: http://www.tobias-jung.de.nyud.net:8090/seekingprofont/ It's a monospace typeface that's available in various formats. I've been using the MacOS/X version and I find it far better than any of the monospace fonts (e.g., Monoco and Courier) included in the standard Apple distribution. Because of sight problems due to damage from catarcts and diabetes, I have to crank up the point size well into the double digits; however, I suspect that even those that can tolerate a nine point font will benefit from the change.
