I am going on a 12 day vacation, starting next week, to Florida and >have been busy getting ready for it both at home and at work. well then Enjoy your vacation! Florida during Spring Break you ol devil you i find that its best to take along a very dark pair of sunglasses and to practice my peripheral vision when walking the beaches with my wife this way she is clueless as to what i am really looking at :)) can you give me a clue as to how much the first >Fidelity Avant Garde is worth? This is model 6081, that was called the Elite >Avant Garde Mobile Master. I would certainly rather have one of the ones from >the late 1980's, but I have an opportunity to buy one of these and don't know >what to offer. It has the box, but not packing materials, and the pieces and >manual and works perfectly. very nice.. not so much the computer but the way you phrased the question all of the pertinant items were included in your question the mark of a true hard nosed collector firstly i will say if you only are interested in having one EAG in your collection ,then i would pass on the Mobile EAG V2's and V6'S do appear on Ebay several times a year and of course play much stronger then the Mobile however if you dont mind having more then one EAG in your ever growing collection the Mobile is a real collectable in fact even some pretty savy collector's never heard of it,thinking the EAG 2100 was the first to be released as to value..in a non-Ebay,arms length transaction i would pay no more then $600 for it on Ebay with prices totally without rhyme or reason it could sell for $50 or $5000 Best Steve
