I think if you spring it on them, they will all get clobbered.

Let them each play 200 games against Shredder first, and then try the
experiment.  Then give them the modern anticomputer strategy information which
is usually ignored by top GMs when playing against the computers. And repeat the
experiment.  Then let them play another 200 games and repeat the experiment.

Capablanca was clearly the strongest of the group.  But then again, he was
supposedly not very motivated to study, so it would be hard to say if he would
do the best of the bunch.

It would be a more interesting experiment than counting how many angels can
dance on the head of a pin, at least.
