Hi, this position is rather simple for chess programs because of check and one reply extensions. As Spike does not use one reply extensions he needs one second to find it (Score +3 Pawns) and 3 seconds to have a score of 8 +Pawns for white. But spike cannont find a mate value in 5 minutes.
