statistics from CCT-7:

1-0      91 games 47 %  Total 57 %
1/2-1/2  35 games 20 %
0-1      64 games 33 %  Total 43 %

white TPR: 2345
black TPR: 2253

imho this is a significant difference.

apparently comps don't draw so often as GM's
even at higher levels. maybe because of
the egtb's, maybe for some other reasons.

Some conclusions:
- white has an opening advantage.
 (thus opening books are important).
- the Swiss tournament setup/rules/scheduling are
not completely fair as they do not take the difference
into account for white and black.
