I think you are 100% right and if I were Adams, I would take the $60,000 and run
the hell out of town :) I would go as far to make sure there was a chopper on
the roof to fly me away with the "winnings" I just "stole" :)

Do I think this will happen? Not a chance. Knowing the kind of person that
Donniger is, if this type of "play" were to happen he would pack up and leave.
Simply as that. He _can't_ afford for Hydra to be embarrassed
Shredder/Fritz/Junior/Hiarcs are with play from some here. There is to much
money invested and riding on this for future matches.

The fact is if Adams were to play this style and draw all the games, he would be
the smartest GM to date that has played a computer. He would prey on the
weaknesses or computer chess programs instead of being an idiot and getting into
a tactics based affair which he doesn't stand a chance in hell in winning.

Would it be attractive chess? No.
Would it be entertaining to the fans? No.
Would he be critizied for it? Of course.
Would he care? Not likely while he is spending his loot :)

I see nothing wrong with the style of play. I just don't find it entertaining.
For those that can stand it and play it, go for it. They are doing nothing that
any competitive person/team hasn't done in the past or will do in the future.
