Shredder9 runs fine with the hash table size that it optimizes for. So what you are telling me is that you voluntarily accept a lower hash table size just because you don't want to shut Shredder down and restart which takes only 25 seconds. If you want to accept a lower playing strength for Shredder9, fine, but I will follow my advice and happily run with the higher hash table which does does not access the hard drive if you follow my advice.
